Michael Clonts graduated from Syracuse University College of Law in New York (Let’s go, ‘Cuse!) with an emphasis on international, national security, and counterterrorism law. A lifelong native of Arizona, Michael returned to the Phoenix area to practice after graduation. He now practices family law as an Associate Attorney for My AZ Lawyers.
While in law school, Michael had unique opportunities for exposure to many types of law, from participating in local adoption clinics to performing research for the United Nations to helping international government contractors draft sound internal policies. Michael even traveled abroad to study the legal system in the emerging democracy of South Africa.
Michael understands that family law is often very emotional for all the parties and tries to empathize with each client’s unique situation, helping them to navigate life-changing legal challenges such as divorce, child custody, and visitation rights.
When he has free time, Michael enjoys spending it with his wife and six children. He considers his own family to be his greatest priority as well as his motivation to excel in all his endeavors.
