During law school, Brennan gained hands-on legal experience by externing with a well-established Phoenix criminal defense firm, where he developed skills in trial preparation, courtroom advocacy, and presenting detailed legal arguments under pressure. He also externed with an insurance defense firm focused on civil litigation, legal writing, and settlement negotiation, further strengthening his analytical and negotiation abilities.
In his first year of law school, Brennan served as a volunteer note-taker for disabled law students and participated in multiple moot court competitions, gaining oral argument experience that continues to inform his courtroom advocacy today. He also held the role of Managing Editor for the Arizona Summit Law Review Journal, refining his legal research and writing skills.
As the son of divorced parents, Brennan understands firsthand the emotional and practical challenges families face during divorce and custody disputes.
